Elk stuk wordt met de hand beschilderd door onze ambachtslieden in Marokko, gebruikmakend van technieken die ze van eerdere generaties hebben geleerd.

Geïnspireerd door de blauw geverfde muren van Chefchaouen, heeft deze gootsteen een centraal sterrenmedaillon omringd door geometrische randen in tinten azuurblauw en turkoois. De ambachtslieden schilderen elk punt van de ster en elk randelement met de hand, waardoor diepte ontstaat door gelaagde patronen. De mix van turkooistinten creëert visuele interesse.

In massa geproduceerde gootstenen missen de diepte en het karakter van met de hand beschilderde keramiek. Met TerraFez zijn de variaties in verfapplicatie en lichte onvolkomenheden wat elk stuk authentiek en waardevol maakt.

Mooi in mediterrane of kustgeïnspireerde badkamers. Combineert prachtig met geborsteld nikkel, chroom of messing kranen. Een echt gespreksonderwerp.
